Thats until you read the fine print  and then beyond the headline you will notice that company insolvencies were actually down last year. All well and good but this was a rather sour note struck by the head of R3

“Despite a number of challenges for businesses in 2016 – the fall in the value of the pound since June’s EU referendum and the introduction of the National Living Wage among them –

On a technicality which im not really inclined to look up, I thought the minimum wage was compulsory but not the NLW?

Either way, I really do wonder how many decent businesses are really brought to their knees by paying this pretty basic level of requirement ?
